Green Plus Co., Ltd. , a smart farm specialist, announced on the 2nd that it had won a contract worth approximately 2.3 billion won for a smart farm construction project commissioned by the Seosan Agricultural Cooperative. The project is a smart farm project for a joint rice nursery being promoted in the Onam-dong area of Seosan, South Chungcheong Province.
This contract marks the 10th new smart farm contract Green Plus has secured since 2025, and is expanding its contracts to include a variety of clients, including public institutions, private companies, and agricultural cooperatives.
Green Plus has recently won a series of contracts, including public projects in the Buyeo and Boseong regions from the Korea Rural Community Corporation and large-scale projects from the private agricultural corporation Farm Farm. Through this contract with Nonghyup, Green Plus is expanding its business into the smart farm market that supports farmers.
According to the company, this contract marks the company's largest-ever order backlog in the smart farm sector, with additional orders expected in the second half of the year. In particular, the company believes that diversifying its client base is providing the foundation for both business stability and growth potential.
A Green Plus official stated, “As demand for smart farm adoption expands nationwide, we are receiving additional inquiries from various clients, including the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation,” and “We plan to accelerate business growth by expanding orders by the end of the year.”
