Open Survey (CEO Hee-young Hwang), an AI-based research platform company, announced on the 2nd that it has simultaneously obtained ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO/IEC 27701 (Personal Information Protection Management System), international standards for information security and personal information protection. With this, Open Survey has established itself as a research platform company that meets global security standards in addition to domestic ISMS-P (Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System) certification.
This certification is a representative international standard for information security, established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 27001 assesses the overall information security management system, including information security policies, system security, and personnel security, while ISO/IEC 27701 establishes the organizational control and protection measures for the collection, processing, and storage of personal information.
OpenSurvey, a platform that handles consumer data and sensitive information for corporate clients, believes that establishing an advanced security system is a key competitive advantage. Therefore, we have continuously strengthened our company-wide security and improved our internal processes. As a result, we have become the first company in the research industry to simultaneously obtain these two international certifications.
The company believes this certification will serve as a crucial foundation for future expansion into the global market and attracting overseas corporate clients. In particular, since data security and personal information protection are directly linked to corporate credibility, securing global-level certification will help secure a competitive edge over competitors.
Hwang Hee-young, CEO of Open Survey, said, “This ISO certification proves that Open Survey is a trusted data partner for domestic and international customers,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our security capabilities to create an environment where customers can safely collect and utilize data.”
