
The Korea Human Resources Development Institute (hereinafter referred to as “HIDI”) announced that it will run a joint session at the “2025 Korean Society of Medical Artificial Intelligence Regular Conference” to be held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on Friday, October 24.
This session, planned and organized by the Korea Injaewon Institute, is themed "Medical AI: From Past Achievements to Future Vision." It will review the achievements of AI talent development through the Precision Medicine Professional Training Program, implemented from 2018 to 2023, and share practical application cases through actual graduates. Furthermore, it will examine the medical AI healthcare professional job training program launched in 2025 in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, policy directions, and challenges facing the future development of medical AI.
Major presentations include ▲'Medical AI Field Expansion and Utilization – After KOHI Talent Development' (Professor Dong-Heon Lee, Seoul National University College of Medicine), ▲'Medical AI Healthcare Professional Job Training Project Promotion Direction and Prospects' (Korea Human Resources Development Institute for Health and Welfare), ▲'Tasks for Resolving Regional Level Disparities in Medical AI' (Professor Hyeon-Ho Kim, Chonbuk National University), etc. Following this, a panel discussion will be held to discuss ways to expand the introduction of AI in the medical field and develop talent.
In addition to the sessions, a special video screening will be held to showcase the talent development achievements of the talent center in the AI field.
This session is accessible to anyone interested in medical AI through live online streaming in addition to on-site participation. Pre-registration is available via the QR code on the poster.
The Korea Institute of Inje stated, “In order for medical AI to go beyond simple technological expansion and be used in the field, talent development is the most crucial task,” and added, “Through this session, we will share the accumulated experience and policy challenges, and take the lead in establishing a foundation for utilizing medical AI anywhere in the country.”
