The Seoul Women's and Family Foundation signed a business agreement with Ewha Womans University.

The Seoul Women's and Family Foundation (CEO Park Jeong-sook) announced on October 1st that it had signed a business agreement with Ewha Womans University to establish a cooperative child care system, foster a safe university culture, and promote women's career development.

This agreement aims to leverage the university's specialized workforce to address blind spots in care and strengthen customized violence prevention and response systems, fostering a safe university culture. Furthermore, with the expansion of digital-based jobs, the two sides will establish a cooperative system to support stable employment and career progression for female talent within universities, contributing to the creation of a gender-equal work environment and the development of future talent.

Under the agreement, the foundation will promote and operate the childcare program, and Ewha Womans University, in collaboration with relevant departments, will be responsible for recruiting and promoting university student volunteers. University students will gain practical experience through participation in the program, and the university and the local community are expected to collaborate to raise awareness about the need for childcare.

Additionally, the foundation plans to provide customized violence prevention training for universities and collaborate with the Seoul Digital Sex Crime Safety Support Center to provide one-stop support for victims. Building on its experience in violence prevention training and operating the Safety Support Center, the foundation plans to actively promote a safe university environment.

Furthermore, the foundation has supported women's economic participation and career sustainability through projects like the Seoul Women's Up Project and the Seoul Women's Up Fair, a job fair. It has also worked to improve organizational culture, including providing work-life balance consulting to Seoul-based companies and implementing a work-life balance points system. This agreement is expected to contribute to creating a foundation for economic activity and sustainable employment for female talent within universities.

Park Jeong-sook, CEO of the Seoul Women and Family Foundation, said, “It is meaningful to collaborate with Ewha Womans University. We will work closely together to promote various projects such as low birth rate response, violence prevention, and female talent development, and especially to promote the advancement of women in science and engineering fields and sustain their careers.”
