Music Cow Renews Its Information Security Management System International Standard Certification

Music investment platform Music Cow announced on the 10th that it recently renewed its ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, international standards in the fields of information security and personal information protection.

This renewal was achieved through an audit by the British Standards Institution (BSI), and was assessed to have met organizational, physical, and technical criteria across 93 items, including core requirements for information security management systems and personal data protection systems.

ISO 27001 is an international standard for information security management systems, and ISO 27701 is an extended standard for personal information protection management systems. Both certifications are used as key indicators for formally verifying global security capabilities.

Music Cow first obtained ISO 27001 certification in 2022, and renewed it in 2023, later acquiring ISO 27701 certification. Since then, the company has conducted annual post-certification audits to ensure its management system is compliant and adheres to the latest standards.

Music Cow recently applied for preliminary approval from the financial authorities for an investment brokerage license, effectively moving toward institutionalization. This ISO certification renewal is seen as part of the company's efforts to strengthen investor protection and a trust-based service environment through the continuous advancement of its information security system.

A Music Cow official stated, “At a time when the institutionalization of piecemeal investment is in full swing, we have once again proven our global standard information security capabilities,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our management system to provide a safe investment environment going forward.”
