Goqual Signs Business Agreement with Fordayworks

Goqual, a specialist in Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, and Fordayworks, Inc., operator of the camping platform "Camperest," announced on the 10th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build and operate IoT-based smart campsites. The purpose of this agreement is to combine the technologies and platforms of both companies to present a standard model for next-generation campsites.

Goqual provides customized B2B IoT solutions, supporting a variety of smart services, including private IoT platform construction, access control, and space management systems. Its technological prowess has also been proven in the consumer smart home market through its lifestyle brand, "Hej Home."

Podayworks has been accumulating user data through its camping diary app, Camperest, and based on this data, it is providing customized campsite recommendation and reservation services through its own AI-based search engine.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly develop and implement IoT solutions optimized for campground operations, including intelligent power management, real-time environmental monitoring, emergency notification systems, and smart security. This will enable guests to enjoy a safer and more convenient camping experience, while operators can expect greater efficiency and cost savings in facility management.

“Based on Goqual’s stable IoT infrastructure, we will lead the digital transformation of the camping industry,” said Lee Woo-ram, CEO of Goqual. “Through our collaboration with Camperest, we will create a new paradigm for smart campsites.”

Podayworks CEO Hong Yun-gi said, “This collaboration is the starting point for increasing the operational efficiency of campsites while providing a safer and more convenient camping environment for users,” and added, “We will support the qualitative growth of the domestic camping industry through IoT technology.”
