bcdW officially launches A-TO-A Connect, a global action platform for "connecting innovation."

A-to-A Connect, a new urban innovation platform where global ideas and local collaboration meet, will officially launch in New York on October 15th. Planned by New York-based media platform bcdW Magazine, the project is attracting attention by proposing a new model for solving urban social and economic problems: a "local-global action stage."

A-TO-A Connect is considered the next step after TED, moving beyond a simple conference to a sustainable platform that includes practical "action" and follow-up. The inaugural event will be held at Faunt Studios near Broadway in New York City, featuring five key sessions on solving urban problems, with participation from global startups, local communities, and industry stakeholders.

The program includes an opening stage, a startup showcase called the "Anywhere to America Stage," a "Anyone to AI Stage" that explores AI strategies, an "America to America Stage" that shares community engagement practices, and an "Action to Acceleration Stage" that addresses idea implementation strategies. Each session will be produced as video and audio content to be shared with the global community.

Through this event, bcdW aims to address pressing issues facing New York City, including unemployment, the small business crisis, the urban environment, tourism imbalances, and international student retention issues, through global collaboration. The platform's name, "A-TO-A," symbolizes diverse global-local connections, encompassing initiatives like "Anywhere to America, Anyone to AI, and Action to Acceleration."

As an official partner for this project, Intercom will collaborate to foster New York's MICE industry and global networking, providing branding and business expansion opportunities for both local and global partners. Through this partnership, Intercom will establish a connection with the New York community and strengthen its position on the global stage.

By applying their solutions in New York, global partners and organizations participating in the event gain a track record that can be used as an "Official New York Case Study," thereby enhancing their credibility in the global market. Conversely, New York City leverages external resources to strengthen its capacity to address urban challenges, creating a structure with clear mutual benefits.

Beginning with this project, bcdW plans to establish "action hubs" in each city and foster a community-based global collaborative ecosystem. A related online platform is also currently under development, with plans to expand participation from global users.

“A-TO-A Connect starts in New York, but it’s not just a one-city project,” said Paul Joseph Kang, founder and editor-in-chief of bcdW Magazine. “It’s a new model for urban collaboration where global partnerships and local action meet to create new economies and jobs.”
