Mobile game developer 111 Percent (CEO Kim Kang-an) announced on the 14th that it has officially established a joint venture (JV) with global game publisher Habby for joint development and global service. Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to combine their creative development capabilities with global publishing capabilities to develop new titles aimed at long-term success.
This joint venture aims to strategically integrate 111%'s game planning and development capabilities with Harvey's global publishing expertise. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to strengthen their collaboration, focusing on three shared goals: lowering barriers to entry into the global market, building a diverse portfolio of genres, and maximizing commercial success.
The joint venture will be established in Singapore, with a joint management team comprised of personnel from both companies. The specific management structure will be officially announced after final coordination. Development will be jointly undertaken by both companies, with publishing responsibilities divided by region. 111% will handle the Korean market, while the global market will be managed through a joint publishing system through the JV.
111 Percent CEO Kim Kang-an stated, “Harvey is a publisher that has consistently demonstrated innovation in the global market,” and “This collaboration reflects the vision and strengths of both companies, and will be able to present new possibilities for the global gaming ecosystem.”
“111 Percent has a history of developing creative and genre-defining games,” said Stefan Wang, CEO of Harvey. “This JV reflects our two companies’ core values of originality, innovation, and a philosophy of delivering enjoyment to gamers around the world.”
