Brils Signs Business Agreement with Ivytech

Brills (CEO Jeon Jin), a company specializing in robot automation solutions, announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Ivytech (CEO Kim Jin-woo), an autonomous driving-based AI smart robot company.

The signing ceremony took place on the 15th at Brils's Songdo headquarters in Incheon, attended by representatives from both companies and key executives. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to launch a joint venture in the autonomous AI robot market by combining industrial and collaborative robotics technologies with AI-based educational and guidance robots.

Brils possesses technological expertise in industrial and collaborative robot automation solutions, while Ivytech has accumulated expertise in AI educational and guided smart robots. Leveraging their respective core technologies and infrastructure, the two companies plan to expand their collaboration beyond the education and service markets, and eventually into logistics robotics.

A Brils representative explained, "Through our technological collaboration, we will strengthen the market competitiveness of autonomous robots and jointly address equipment distribution and sales network expansion." Ivytech also stated, "We anticipate synergy across the robotics industry through this mutual cooperation."

Meanwhile, founded in 2015, Brils provides a one-stop service encompassing robotic system integration, in-house manufacturing, and after-sales service, focusing on industrial automation and smart manufacturing solutions. The company is also expanding its business in global markets, including the United States, the Czech Republic, India, Slovakia, and Mexico.
