Apartmentary secures strategic investment from LG Electronics

Apartmentary, a premium apartment interior design company, announced on the 16th that it has secured a strategic investment from LG Electronics. This investment is part of a collaboration between the two companies to create a next-generation residential experience that combines home appliances, interior design, artificial intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, and marks the first new investment since its Series C funding in 2022.

Apartmentary has been expanding its presence in the domestic apartment interior design market based on its integrated residential service model. As of the first half of 2025, the cumulative number of remodeling starts increased by 64.07% year-on-year, and its Net Profit Satisfaction Index (NPS) reached a cumulative 56.07, demonstrating a high level of customer satisfaction within the industry.

Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to introduce the "ImmersiveHome" solution, which integrates home appliances and IoT technologies from the initial interior planning stage. Furthermore, the strategy is to integrate the home appliance and interior design consultation and purchasing process by combining Apartmentary's kitchen brand "AKIT" with LG Electronics' kitchen appliances, thereby improving the overall customer experience throughout the housing decision-making process. Furthermore, LG Electronics will join Apartmentary's board of directors to more closely share the two companies' strategic direction and implementation system.

“We have continuously improved our sophisticated home renovation services to meet our customers’ expectations,” said Apartmentary co-CEOs Yoon So-yeon and Kim Jun-young. “Through our collaboration with LG Electronics, we will offer a new residential experience to customers not only domestically but also globally.”

An LG Electronics official explained, “Home renovation and home appliances are closely linked areas of life around the world,” and added, “This investment is an important step for both companies to jointly develop customer-centered integrated solutions under a long-term vision.”

Apartmentary plans to continue its growth based on premium remodeling services and differentiated customer experience through this strategic investment.
