Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Yong-Seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) announced on October 15 that it signed a business agreement with Siheung City Youth Collaboration Village to promote youth entrepreneurship in Gyeonggi Province.
This agreement aims to support the growth of aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs in the cultural and content sectors in Gyeonggi Province and foster creative talent. The two organizations plan to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy through various collaborative activities, including supporting entrepreneurship education through linkages with cultural entrepreneurship planners, strengthening the capabilities of young entrepreneurs and fostering talent, and hosting joint events.
Accordingly, Gyeongkonjin will provide entrepreneurship education and mentoring by matching 'Cultural Entrepreneurship Planners', who are experts in cultural content and entrepreneurship, with the 'Second Half Youth Entrepreneurship Program' of Siheung City's Youth Collaboration Village.
"Cultural Startup Planner" is a specialized training program for cultural content startups, launched by Gyeonggi Province in 2014. It trains experts who will provide comprehensive support throughout the entire startup process, from idea development to management consulting and investment attraction assistance. To date, the program has produced a total of 329 experts, and over the past two years, the program has provided approximately 1,300 training and consulting sessions to aspiring entrepreneurs and startups in the province.
A Gyeonggi Province official said, “Through this agreement, the Cultural Startup Planner will become a good model of cooperation that supports the continuous growth of young entrepreneurs in Siheung City,” and added, “We will continue to actively support the revitalization of the Gyeonggi Province startup ecosystem and the growth of content companies.”
