
On October 2, Eumgeu Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jong-yeol) and Pozalabs (CEO Heo Won-gil), an artificial intelligence (AI) music generation technology company, announced that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for joint research and development of music education content utilizing AI technology.
This agreement aims to combine the core competencies of both companies to jointly develop creative and innovative music education content and establish a future-oriented education model utilizing AI technology.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to gradually pursue ▲joint planning and research of AI-based music education content ▲development and pilot application of educational programs ▲exchange of technology and teaching personnel ▲expansion of business through future collaboration.
PozaLabs operates a content creation platform based on copyright-free AI music generation technology. Based on over a million training data points, the company developed an AI music generation model that supports a variety of input methods, including text, images, and voice. The resulting output can be output as MIDI or audio files, making it highly versatile. Recently, the company has adopted a hybrid production approach that combines post-production with professional composers, ensuring both quality and efficiency. This technological prowess has recently attracted attention, with CJ ENM recently securing strategic investment.
Umg, a company specializing in the planning and operation of music education content, provides customized educational solutions for learners of various ages and levels. This agreement is expected to enhance learner creativity and engagement by applying AI technology to educational content, while also providing a new educational experience suited to the digital environment.
“By incorporating AI technology, we will be able to provide personalized music education tailored to the learner’s level and preferences,” said Jang Jin-gyu, head of the music department. “We plan to continue to work together to ensure that more students have access to high-quality educational opportunities.”
“Students can develop their creative capabilities by directly participating in the composition process through the creative environment provided by AI,” said Lim Geon-hee, head of business at Poza Labs. “We will realize a learner-centered music education environment through the convergence of technology and education.”
Based on this agreement, the two companies plan to develop a pilot education program and conduct verification work to determine its applicability in educational settings in the future.
