Aleph Labs Secures Follow-Up Investment from Y Combinator

AI startup Aleph Labs (Co-CEOs Jang Han-nim and Han Gwan-yeop) announced on the 16th that it has been selected for Y Combinator's Fall 2025 (F25) program, a leading startup accelerator in Silicon Valley. This success has also led to the successful securing of follow-on investment. This selection comes approximately one month after securing its first investment from Krew Capital in August.

Founded in August 2025, Aleph Labs is developing "Aleph Kids," a service that allows users to learn English through real-time conversations with a native-speaking AI friend within the Minecraft game. The service is also scheduled to launch on the gaming platform Roblox within the year.

Aleph Kids' AI native-speaking friend, "Annie," is more than just a chatbot. It's an AI agent that perceives the surrounding environment and generates questions that prompt learners to respond. It analyzes learners' interests, language level, and game situations in real time to provide a personalized learning curriculum, focusing on a "learn through play" experience.

Aleph Kids, targeting elementary and middle school students and their parents worldwide, is gaining global attention for its innovative language education approach that combines games and education. The investment will be used to expand its product offerings, including the launch of AI friends within Roblox, support for additional languages like Spanish and French, expansion into subjects like math and science, and the development of learning services for adults.

Co-CEOs Jang Han-nim and Han Gwan-yeop stated, “We will provide an environment where children can naturally develop their English skills with AI native-speaking friends without the burden of expensive overseas English camps or study abroad,” and “We will support children to communicate confidently in a global environment.”
