Crescom (CEO Jaejun Lee), a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for musculoskeletal medical image analysis, announced on the 17th that it has signed an export contract for its AI bone age analysis solution, ‘MediAI-BA,’ with Samitivej Public Company Limited, a Thai medical group.
Through this agreement, Crescom will make a full-fledged entry into the Thai pediatric and adolescent growth management market, supplying and operating the MediAI-BA solution to two hospitals under Samitivej: Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital.
Samitivej is a key subsidiary of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS), Thailand's largest private hospital group. BDMS is Thailand's largest medical network with over 50 hospitals and a leading provider of medical services in the ASEAN region.
This export contract is the result of a two-year proof-of-concept (PoC) collaboration with Samitivej Hospital to establish local system integration and verify applicability. Crescom has also completed localization efforts, including the implementation of Thai pediatric growth charts.
The Samitivej medical team said, “MediAI-BA has significantly improved clinical efficiency by improving analysis speed and accuracy compared to existing models,” and “Demand for growth plate testing is rapidly increasing, especially in major cities such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya.”
“Based on this agreement, we plan to expand our solution supply to the entire BDMS Group network and broaden our reach to the Thai and ASEAN markets,” said Crescom CEO Lee Jae-jun.
