Smile Information Technology to Participate in the 2025 International Security Industry Expo

Miso Information Technology (CEO Nam Sang-do), a multimodal data platform specialist, announced on the 17th that it will participate in the 'International Security Industry Expo (KPEX 2025)' held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from October 22nd to 25th, and showcase a cardiovascular disease prevention and prediction system for police officers.

Now in its seventh year, KPEX is Korea's only specialized exhibition for the public safety and security industry, co-hosted by the National Police Agency and Incheon Metropolitan City. It is an event that comprehensively introduces smart public safety technology, security equipment, and export-linked platforms.

This system, unveiled by Smile Information Technology, is a clinical big data analysis-based solution jointly developed with Seoul Asan Medical Center, Yonsei University's Industry-Academic Collaboration Foundation, and seven cardiovascular centers nationwide. It is specifically designed to support lifecycle health management for police officers engaged in high-risk jobs.

The National Police Agency is considering introducing a platform to comprehensively manage police officer health information based on this technology. The goal is to predict disease risk factors among officers, who face high job stress and physical strain, early on and use this as a basis for policy measures to prevent disease.

An official from the National Police Agency's Science, Technology, and Cooperation Development Division said, "Police officers are exposed to various occupational risks, so systematizing health management is necessary." He added, "We expect that when this technology is applied in the field, it will be helpful in establishing policies and improving the work environment."

Nam Sang-do, CEO of Smile Information Technology, said, “We are participating in the construction of bio big data for high-risk police officers through collaboration with Seoul Asan Medical Center and Yonsei University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation,” and “We plan to continue research and development so that we can make a practical contribution to the health management of field security personnel.”
