Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center Completes '2025 Bluebird Growth Support Project'

The '2025 Bluebird Growth Support Project' promoted by the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Noh Chung-sik) in collaboration with the Gyeongnam Port Aging Research Institute concluded its approximately six-month schedule with the IR (Investment Attraction) Demo Day held at the Gyeongnam Port Aging Research Institute in Sancheong, Gyeongnam on October 16.

This program, which began in May to support the growth of promising (and potential) startups in the region, included customized mentoring and training programs focused on product development, market validation, and strengthening commercialization capabilities. A total of seven companies were selected to participate, and six of them participated in the final IR Demo Day, presenting their achievements and presenting their business models to investors and experts.

Participating companies include: ▲ Chanine (CEO Eun-chan Kim), who developed 'Daldora Jam', a healthy jam made with rice syrup and fresh bellflower roots; ▲ Anbio (CEO Jeong-jae Kim), who introduced Kujippong Collagen Stick; ▲ Jam-i Flower Blooming Time (CEO Yeong-sik Shin), who developed juice drinks and by-product upcycling products made with jujubes, pears, and bellflower roots; ▲ Tyranno Farm (CEO Sang-min Park), who created the 'drinkable medicinal herb' Sancheong Blending Tea brand; ▲ Nae-oe Distillery (CEO Tae-geon Kim), who developed a local specialty liquor made with Sancheong's specialty medicinal herbs; ▲ Jirisan Tejutdaegam (CEO Da-hye Lee), who developed a ginger and chosukjam prototype for the premium dried persimmon brand 'Gamseonok'.

At the event, each team shared their business performance through a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. A panel of judges, including BioApp's Director Lee Dong-hyung, Tap Angel Partners' Team Leader Song Ji-hyun, and Pocket Company's Director Chu Sung-hoo, provided real-time feedback. Following the IR presentations, a networking session was held, allowing investors and startups to freely interact, leading to on-site discussions on specific collaborations and investment opportunities.

The Gyeongnam Aging Research Institute announced that this program laid the foundation for participating companies to achieve the next level of growth through practical mentoring and customer verification. One company in Sancheong, in particular, drew attention by completing the program despite damage from heavy summer rain, demonstrating the strong will and passion of a local startup.

Noh Chung-sik, CEO of the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “The Bluebird Growth Support Project is a program designed to help local startups secure opportunities to attract real investment and strengthen their market entry capabilities.” He added, “As we have achieved results in connecting companies with actual investors through Demo Day, we will continue to support follow-up mentoring and networking in the future to contribute to the revitalization of the local startup ecosystem.”
