Innogrid (CEO Myungjin Kim), a cloud computing and digital transformation (DT) specialist, announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with Soongsil University (President Yoonjae Lee) to foster talent in the advanced industry.
This agreement signing ceremony was held on October 17th at the Soongsil University campus, and was attended by key officials including Soongsil University President Lee Yoon-jae, Vice President for Research and Industry-Academic Cooperation Moon Yong, Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group Jeong Jae-hyeon, and Innogrid CEO Kim Myeong-jin.
The two institutions established a cooperative relationship as part of the "Advanced Industry Talent Development Bootcamp," a project hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT). Soongsil University was selected to operate the AI program, and Innogrid, as a key participant, will jointly operate a practical, hands-on curriculum.
Innogrid has continuously expanded its training programs based on its own customer cases through its cloud-focused training academy, EDU SQUARE. Furthermore, it has been operating a software training program at the Geumcheon Campus of Seoul City's Youth Employment Academy, SeSAC, for two consecutive years, focusing on building a cloud-based education infrastructure and fostering practical talent.
Through this agreement, the two parties plan to strengthen the foundation for industry-academia cooperation, including ▲joint development and operation of educational curriculum, ▲education and research cooperation and expert advice, ▲joint operation of field training programs, and ▲sharing and utilization of infrastructure.
In addition, Innogrid will participate in Soongsil University's Co-Op (Intensive Semester of Industry-Academic Cooperation) program starting in the second semester of the 2025 academic year. Through the Cloud Track's regular credit courses, the program will offer in-depth training based on "K-PaaS," the domestic PaaS standard model, in the first half of the year, and "SECloudit," Innogrid's commercial PaaS solution, in the second half.
An Innogrid official stated, “We will establish a sustainable industry-academia cooperation model to cultivate practical AI and cloud convergence talents that the industry demands.”
