Rebellion Joins Arm as a Total Design Partner

AI semiconductor startup Rebellion (CEO Park Sung-hyun) announced on the 20th that it has officially joined Arm's 'Arm® Total Design (ATD)' partner at the 'OCP Global Summit 2025', an open data center technology conference held in San Jose, California, USA. This joining is part of the strengthened cooperation following the strategic investment from Arm during the Series C funding round last September.

ATD is a global collaborative ecosystem supporting the development of custom systems based on Arm's Neoverse™ Compute Subsystem (CSS). Rebellion is the first AI semiconductor startup to participate in this partnership. Through this partnership, Rebellion will develop solutions that simultaneously meet the high performance and energy efficiency demands of AI data centers.

Rebellion recently demonstrated its technological prowess by unveiling its chiplet-based AI semiconductor, REBEL-Quad. Through its collaboration with Arm, Rebellion plans to integrate high-performance, low-power AI semiconductors into next-generation data center infrastructure within the ATD ecosystem. Arm's Neoverse CSS platform and Rebellion's semiconductors complement each other, supporting scalability and efficiency.

Arm has strategically participated in Rebellion's Series C investment, solidifying their partnership and pursuing the development of joint solutions optimized for generative AI workloads. The addition of ATD also reflects the two companies' commitment to strengthening their collaboration.

“To meet the growing demands of AI compute, we need infrastructure that is fast, efficient, and scalable,” said Eddie Ramirez, vice president of the Infrastructure Business Unit at Arm. “With Rebellion joining ATD, the combination of Arm Neoverse CSS and Rebellion AI silicon will drive innovation in AI infrastructure.”

“Joining ATD as a partner is a significant turning point in the expansion of our high-performance, low-power AI semiconductor solutions,” said Park Sung-hyun, CEO of Rebellion. “We will apply Arm Neoverse CSS to our upcoming product lines to provide solutions optimized for large-scale data centers.”
