Quantum standard technology specialist SDT (CEO Jiwon Yoon) announced that it will participate as a platinum sponsor in the '2025 KPS Fall Meeting', the fall academic paper presentation conference of the Korean Physical Society, which will open at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju on the 21st, and will showcase a large number of core quantum computer research equipment developed with domestic technology.
Hosted by the Korean Physical Society, the "KPS Fall Meeting" is Korea's largest physics academic event, bringing together physicists from Korea and abroad to share the latest research trends. At this event, SDT will focus on introducing key solutions directly related to quantum computer performance.
The product attracting attention is a domestically produced simultaneous counter (CCU) supporting 20 input channels. With a counting rate of up to 100 MHz and a simultaneous time window precision of 2 nanoseconds, it enables large-scale multi-photon experiments. This equipment has proven its technological prowess, enabling domestic researchers to publish papers in top academic journals such as Nature Physics and Nature Communications.
Also on display is the "TTMU," an ultra-precision measuring instrument that measures photon arrival times in picosecond units. This equipment is used not only in quantum optics but also in chemistry and biotechnology, and is currently in use at major domestic universities and research institutes.
In addition, SDT will showcase a lineup of domestic technologies covering the entire process of quantum computer development, including ▲qubit control unit (QCU) ▲pulse generator (PGU) ▲CryoRack, a cooling solution that implements a 10 millikelvin ultra-low temperature environment.
Based on an understanding of the domestic research environment, SDT provides domestic solutions to address the problems of delayed delivery, maintenance difficulties, and lack of technical support associated with expensive imported equipment. Its strengths include reasonable prices, rapid supply, and close technical support.
Additionally, we are working to foster a quantum technology ecosystem and cultivate future talent, including by co-developing a qubit control training course in cooperation with domestic universities.
Yoon Ji-won, CEO of SDT, said, “This conference is an important opportunity to showcase the fruits of domestic quantum technology,” and added, “As a technology solution partner that helps researchers solve their technological challenges, we will contribute to expanding the foundation of domestic quantum research.”
