MediWhale Wins Rising Star Award in AI-Based Patient Care at the 2025 Digital Health Awards

MediWhale (CEO Choi Tae-geun), a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, was selected as the Rising Star winner in the "AI-based Patient Care" category at the "Digital Health Awards 2025" held in Las Vegas, USA. The awards ceremony was held on October 20 (local time) as an official program of HLTH 2025, a global digital health conference.

The Digital Health Awards is a global awards ceremony held annually to recognize innovative digital health companies from around the world. Winners are selected based on the innovation and market potential of healthcare technology. Over 1,800 companies from around the world participated in this year's awards, and the final winners were announced after evaluation by a panel of global experts in the healthcare and investment fields.

The award categories consist of ▲'Rising Stars' for startups with growth potential and innovation, and ▲'Best in Class' for companies recognized for their achievements and influence within the industry.

MediWhale received high praise for developing and commercializing "Dr. Noon," an AI-based solution that enables early risk assessment of major chronic diseases, including cardiovascular and ophthalmic diseases, through simple fundus photography. The company garnered attention for its technology, which proposes a prevention-focused treatment paradigm, and was selected as a rising star in the AI-based patient care sector.
