Jointly promoting physical AI projects with domestic and international robotics and AI companies.

Senior care specialist company Caring (CEO Taeseong Kim) announced on the 21st that it has established a motion scale business division to systematically learn and manage motion data required for the development of humanoid care robots.
To proactively address the domestic care shortage and innovate care services, Caring has established a new MotionScale division. This division will leverage Caring's expertise in senior care and field operations capabilities to generate, analyze, and learn the motion data necessary for the development of humanoid robots.
In particular, Caring plans to jointly pursue physical AI projects with domestic and international robotics and AI companies and establish a close cooperative system across data, technology, and operations to contribute to the creation of a care robot ecosystem. Physical AI refers to intelligent technology that combines AI with physical hardware such as sensors, cameras, and actuators to directly perform perception, judgment, and even physical tasks in the real world.
Following the recent signing of a business agreement with Chinese robotics startup MirrorMe for the joint development of care robots, Caring has also signed a business agreement with domestic AI company Maum AI for joint research and development of physical AI.
Kim Tae-seong, CEO of Caring, said, “Caring has a human resources management system that we have built up by directly employing over 10,000 caregivers, and we have the expertise to collect and analyze behavioral data that occurs in home care environments.” He added, “We will continue to collaborate with various robot and AI companies to take the lead in creating a domestic care robot industry ecosystem.”
Meanwhile, Caring operates 60 facilities nationwide, including daycare centers, home care centers, and caregiver training centers, and has directly cared for a cumulative total of 16,000 seniors. This year, leveraging this care expertise, the company entered the senior housing business, opening "Caring Stay," a paid nursing facility, and "Caring Village," a premium nursing home.
