Finda announced on the 22nd that it had introduced 'AI CFO', a core solution of 'Finda Unicorn' (tentative name), an AI banking platform that solves the financial concerns of startup CEOs, at 'AWS AI x Industry Week 2025' hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) held at COEX The Platz in Seoul on October 16th.
AI CFO is the core function of 'Finda Unicorn', a new business that Pinda has been developing with great effort for the past year and a half. It is characterized by the fact that all functions from A to Z are implemented only with AI agents, so that each agent can share specialized work and collaborate to increase accuracy and enable autonomous decision-making.
The "AI CFO," announced today, is an "all-AI agent-made" solution, allowing users to interact with the service as if they were working with a real CFO (Chief Financial Officer). This means entrepreneurs have a trusted, professional financial manager, allowing them to focus solely on product development and business strategy, based on innovative ideas.
AI CFO adopts a core agent structure based on LangGraph, developed in collaboration with AWS. LangGraph is a framework designed to enable multiple AI agents to collaborate and make decisions step by step. AI CFO is designed to enable each AI agent to share and collaborate across the entire financial management process, including accounting, analysis, forecasting, and reporting, thereby achieving integrated decision-making at a human level. Furthermore, a hybrid engine that combines a Large Language Model (LLM) and machine learning algorithms analyzes a company's transaction history, sales, and expense patterns in real time, enabling precise runway (the period a startup can survive without additional investment) and risk prediction.
AI CFO runs on Amazon Bedrock, AWS's generative AI service, and leverages Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet v2 model. Claude 3.5 Sonnet excels at interpreting visual data, such as charts and graphs, enabling precise analysis of complex financial data and deriving insights. Amazon Bedrock also enables secure use of generative AI models in network-separated environments via AWS PrivateLink.
Here, Finda has strengthened its financial expertise by applying PRism (Projection-logic Interpretive Script Markup language), a proprietary financial logic language developed by the company. PRism is a tool that understands the user's intent when inputting a scenario, converts it into a blueprint for future predictions, and calculates the calculations. For example, if a user commands, "Show me the runway when marketing costs increase by 20%, sales increase by 30%, and infrastructure costs increase by 10%," the tool will summarize and display figures such as expected sales, operating expenses, and cash balance based on the expected scenario.
AI CFO also allows users to analyze future cash flow forecast scenarios in just five minutes, maximizing work efficiency. Various projected scenarios are reflected in real time based on business conditions, facilitating rapid decision-making. Intuitive visual data charts facilitate quick and easy understanding. Furthermore, it quickly detects and alerts users to potential funding shortages and shortened runways due to internal and external factors, helping to strengthen business risk management. This is expected to be particularly helpful for startups that have struggled to manage their runways due to difficulties hiring a CFO.
Park Hong-min, co-CEO of Finda, said, “Startup founders spend enough time implementing ideas that will revolutionize the world into actual products and services, but often the problem of uncertain cash flow holds them back.” He added, “Like a real CFO who can go beyond the role of a simple secretary and anticipate unexpected risks in advance and respond nimbly, I hope that Finda’s AI CFO solution service will become the foundation for making the Korean startup ecosystem more solid and diverse.”
Meanwhile, Pinda Unicorn is currently providing beta services to selected startups.
