TL (CEO Kim Byung-soo), a developer of AI-based pulmonary function testing devices, has announced that it will add pulmonary function testing to next year's national health screening. At the 2025 First National Health Screening Committee meeting held on September 18, the Ministry of Health and Welfare approved a proposal to add pulmonary function testing to the national health screening program for citizens aged 56 and 66 starting next year.
TL reported a tenfold increase in product inquiries compared to August. The company announced that it is currently in discussions with approximately 200 hospitals. The scope of consultation requests has also expanded from private clinics to include large health screening centers and health screening centers at university hospitals.
TL's pulmonary function tester, "The Spirokit," improves the accuracy of test results through AI-based big data analysis. It supports early diagnosis and preventative treatment through pre-COPD measurements, supports various bronchial provocation tests (BDR, mannitol, exercise-induced, methacholine), provides multilingual guidance for international patients, and meets the criteria for special health screenings.
TL revised its sales target to 5 billion won, with the goal of distributing the product to approximately 1,000 hospitals nationwide next year.
CEO Kim Byeong-su said, “After market expansion, we will continue to improve the Duspiro Kit by accepting various needs from the field,” and added, “We are currently actively discussing exports not only domestically but also with Vietnam and Indonesia, and we plan to export products to Thailand soon.”
