Global family entertainment company The Pinkfong Company (CEO Min-seok Kim) announced on the 23rd that it has been selected as the final host organization for the '2025 K-Content AI Innovation Leading Project' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).
This project, a government-led initiative with a total budget of 10 billion won, aims to create a next-generation global content industry ecosystem through the convergence of AI technology and cultural content.
The Pinkfong Company has developed diverse businesses across YouTube, films, series, music, performances, and products, centered around key IPs like "Pinkfong," "Baby Shark," and "Bebepin," in 244 countries and 25 languages. Its accumulated global IP management experience and AI-based content production capabilities are believed to have played a key role in its selection as the host organization.
This project will showcase Korea's first global AI immersive exhibition, featuring interactive displays that respond in real time to visitors' movements, facial expressions, and voices. Cutting-edge AI technologies, including large-scale language models (LLM), speech recognition and synthesis (STT/TTS), and computer vision (CV), will be combined to create interactive experiences between characters and visitors, integrating IP-based storytelling and generative AI technology. A comprehensive production, including media, music, and lighting, will be added to create an immersive experience. The exhibition is scheduled to open in 2026.
The project will be promoted as a consortium led by The Pinkfong Company, with participation from specialized companies such as Peoplely (immersive media exhibition production), Select Star (AI development and 3D implementation), Poza Labs (AI music implementation), and Davero Art (AI media art development). Through this, the project aims to build a next-generation content ecosystem that combines technology, art, and industrialization, presenting a globally scalable, experiential K-content model.
Based on this project, The Pinkfong Company also seeks to expand new business models in the AI-based content industry, including AI commerce and follow-up product development.
CEO Kim Min-seok said, “The combination of AI technology and K-content has opened up new possibilities for experiential exhibitions, and this project will serve as an opportunity to expand the global influence of K-content.”
Meanwhile, The Pinkfong Company is currently submitting a securities report for listing on KOSDAQ and is in the process of IPO procedures. Demand forecasting is scheduled to take place from October 28 to November 3, and general subscription is scheduled for November 6-7.
