Bio-foodtech F&B company Himnanda (CEO Heo Yo-seop) announced that it has signed an agreement with social enterprise Brothers Keeper (CEO Kim Ha-na) to support startups for the economic and emotional independence of young people preparing for self-reliance.
Through this agreement, the two parties plan to jointly promote a startup support program based on the "Himnanda Burger" franchise for the next two years, with the goal of ensuring stable social advancement and expanding startup opportunities for young people preparing for independence.
The program aims to provide a practical foundation for self-reliance for young people who are struggling to find employment, and is operated by combining Himnanda's 'Impact Franchise' model with Brothers Keeper's youth support system.
The company plans to provide franchise startup training and mentoring to young people preparing for independence, easing the initial burden of starting a business through support such as partial exemption of franchise and training fees and operational consulting. Brothers Keeper will be responsible for selecting participating young people, providing pre-training, emotional support, and post-management services, while also providing social financial support and job placement.
Additionally, the two companies plan to cooperate on joint campaigns, public relations, and collaboration projects with the government and public institutions.
The 'Impact Franchise' being promoted by Himnanda is an employment model that provides opportunities to various socially vulnerable groups, such as the disabled, young people preparing for independence, and small business owners who have experienced failure, and is a store operation system that pursues both profitability and social value.
Through its own website, Himnanda also provides financial support measures to reduce the initial burden of starting a business, such as ▲ exemption of franchise fees and training fees worth 10 million won, ▲ exemption of royalties when minimum sales (less than 25 million won per month) are generated, and ▲ linkage with government support projects.
Brothers Keeper is a social enterprise that provides jobs and emotional independence support to young people preparing for independence, based on landscaping and plant-based space production.
"The two companies signed this agreement based on a shared management philosophy of realizing social value," said Heo Yo-seop, CEO of Himnanda. "We will collaborate to drive tangible entrepreneurial success for young people preparing for independence, leveraging our respective expertise." He added, "Starting with the opening of our first store next month, we plan to expand the program to a total of 30 stores by the end of 2026."
