
The '2025 Art Startup Day', hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Choi Hwi-young) and organized by the Arts Management Support Center (CEO Kim Jang-ho) , will be held at the Arts Korea Lab in Jongno-gu, Seoul on Tuesday, November 3.
"Art Startup Day" is an event designed to encourage art companies selected for the 2025 Arts Startup Support Program to explore collaborations with private investors and large and medium-sized enterprises, and to expand growth opportunities through interaction with the general public. The event consists of three parts.
In Part 1, 65 art companies and 4 startup incubators (▲Fiji Ventures Co., Ltd., ▲Y&Archer Co., Ltd., ▲Painters&Ventures Co., Ltd., ▲MY Social Company Co., Ltd.) selected for the '2025 Arts Startup Support Project' will share their major achievements of the year.
In the second part, an IR demo day will be held to encourage investment in art enterprises and business meetings with private investors.
Part 3 will feature an open discussion on collaborations between art and large and medium-sized businesses. Panelists will include Lee Hae-chan, Team Leader of Art & Culture at Hyundai Department Store, and Yoon So-jung, Creative Director at Lush Korea. Jang Woo-jun, CEO and host of the economic YouTube channel SEIZE and composer, will serve as moderator, discussing examples of collaborations between businesses and the arts.
Additionally, in Part 3, there will be a discussion session where senior entrepreneurs in the art field will share their experiences. CEO Jae-wook Kim of Yeolmae Company (online art finance platform 'Art & Guide') will serve as the moderator, and CEO Jun-hwa Jin (global art copyright platform 'Pinzle'), Co-CEO Eun-young Lee of Unique Good Company (story IP-based experiential content 'Real World'), and CEO Seong-pil Kim of Studio Artek (global media art production company) will participate as panelists to present various insights, from their early entrepreneurial experiences to global expansion strategies.
In addition, an exhibition will be held where visitors can directly experience the products, videos, and key services developed by the art companies selected this year, and general visitors can participate.
The Arts Management Support Center stated, “We hope that ‘2025 Art Startup Day’ will serve as an opportunity for art companies to establish diverse cooperative systems and concretize growth strategies from market entry to global expansion.”
