Daejeon Innovation Center Hosts 'Social Venture Networking Night'

Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as Daejeon Innovation Center) held the 'Social Venture Networking Night' event and provided a venue for active communication among resident companies.

About 30 people attended the event, including new resident companies and partner organizations from the Daejeon Startup Hub and Daejeon Social Venture Campus, both operated by the Daejeon Innovation Center.

To promote the stable growth of new entrants and strengthen networking among companies, the Daejeon Innovation Center introduced a social venture mentoring program, provided guidance on patent procedures, and shared examples of selection through government-supported projects and competitions.

Through the introduction of mentoring programs and spaces available at the Daejeon Startup Hub and Daejeon Social Venture Campus, we provided systematic support for the stable growth of new startups. We also explained follow-up plans through the introduction of spaces available at the Daejeon Startup Park.

Attorney Min Byeong-jo of Oam Patent Law Firm provided guidance on patent procedures, sharing patent application and registration procedures, intellectual property rights management, technology transfer and utilization cases to help companies effectively protect and commercialize their technologies.

Additionally, by sharing examples of government-supported projects and participation in startup competitions, the participants focused on sharing success factors such as commercialization strategies, experiences utilizing mentoring programs, and investment attraction performance, thereby expanding the potential for mutual cooperation among participants.
