Content creator company Sandol Co., Ltd. (CEO Youngho Yoon) announced on the 27th that its mobile entertainment font platform 'Bakey (formerly Sandol Cloud)' participated in the 'Bangkok Illustration Fair 2025' held at Central World, Bangkok, Thailand from October 23rd to 26th.
This exhibition marks the first overseas exhibition since Beiki's rebranding, and aims to expand brand awareness and strengthen local partnerships in the Asian market.
According to Sandol, the Beiki booth attracted approximately 1,500 visitors, including local illustrators, designers, and students. The exhibition saw tangible results, with the number of Thai users quadrupling compared to the previous month during and immediately after the exhibition. Visitors reportedly responded positively to Beiki's font design and usability.
This event also saw the participation of digital stationery content platform "Weverding," which, along with Bakie, offers a variety of digital stationery content, including diaries, planners, notebooks, stickers, and brushes, for tablet note-taking app users. At the exhibition, both companies presented their joint vision: "Expanding the creator ecosystem through the combination of fonts and stationery."
The two companies plan to use this exhibition as an opportunity to pursue a mid- to long-term collaboration focused on the Thai market. They plan to jointly launch a discount promotion for Thai fonts at the end of the year and collaborate with local artists to develop fonts and templates that reflect the local sensibility.
A Sandoll official stated, “The MZ generation, which mainly uses SNS and messengers, has a high font utilization rate,” and “We will strengthen our localization strategy based on user data by country and develop into a global platform that connects content, creators, and brands.”
Sandol plans to use this exhibition as an opportunity to accelerate the expansion of Beiki's global IP business and the advancement of its localization strategy. Going forward, the company plans to expand its platform presence in key Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, launch language-specific font packages, and strengthen its B2B licensing business.
