My third venture, this time focusing on people.
CEO Kim Yeo-myeong has experienced ups and downs in the startup ecosystem for nine years since 2017. The first thing he considered in his third venture was not technology, but people.
"In my previous startup, I had a strong sense of problem and the ability to execute. However, I failed to build a team that could last. This time, I prioritized people, organization, and a structure that would foster mutual growth above all else."
The company born from this is Yeomyeonggeori, which is developing an "AI marketing automation agent." CEO Kim stated, "We wanted to build a team with a structure that could generate revenue on our own." He emphasized, "Yeomyeonggeori is not simply a business organization; it's more like a community that supports each other's dreams and grows together."
This philosophy is reflected in the company's name. "Yeomyeong" (黎明) signifies the darkest hour just before sunrise, yet also the time when new beginnings are near. "Geori" (街) is a space where people gather and connect. In other words, Yeomyeonggeori embodies the meaning of "a community of growth where people who dream of new beginnings gather and turn their potential into reality."
AutoK: A Predictive AI, Not a GPT Integration Tool
'AutoK', which is being developed by Yeomyeonggeori, is different from general GPT linkage tools.
"Many people think of platforms when they hear the term 'AI marketing automation.' However, in Korea, there's still no service that fully automates the entire process, from content creation and uploading to performance prediction and optimization."
According to CEO Kim, most existing tools require people to create content, upload it semi-automatically, and analyze it using separate tools. Autoke, on the other hand, differentiates itself by leveraging three core AI engines to connect the entire process into a single flow.
The core of this AI engine is to transform marketing decision-making, previously reliant on human intuition, into a data-driven one. The engine is currently under development through the TIPS project, and initial tests have yielded results such as a more than 10% increase in views and an increase of one follower for every three posts.
A particularly noteworthy feature is "Brand DNA Learning AI." It learns each small business's existing content and generates new content that reflects the brand's unique tone and manner. CEO Kim explained, "The AI remembers the brand's voice and creates consistent content. That's why, even though it's AI-generated, it's often evaluated as 'just like our brand.'"
Yeomyeonggeori combines AI technology with a blockchain-based copyright and revenue distribution structure. While not yet implemented into a full-scale business model, it is currently under development, aiming for commercialization in the second half of next year.
Once this structure is complete, small business owners will be able to share their content and generate additional revenue by leveraging well-crafted content with other small business owners. "Our goal is to create an ecosystem that goes beyond simple automation tools and allows us to promote and grow together," CEO Kim explained.
PMF Verification Completed…NPS 71, Satisfaction 94%
There are approximately 6 million small business owners in Korea, and half of them, or 3 million, are estimated to be digitally-savvy customers. To verify product-market fit (PMF) in this market, Yeomyeonggeori conducted beta tests targeting brands operating on online shopping malls like Able. The results were particularly impressive for apparel brands. Autoke uses AI models to generate images of clothing from various angles, enabling even small brands to produce content comparable to that of major fashion companies.
The beta test results were encouraging, achieving an NPS of 71 and a customer satisfaction rating of 94%. Users responded, saying, "It was amazing that content was automatically created and uploaded the next day," and "I'm happy that my followers are growing even without me doing anything."
CEO Kim said, “Video content creation features like Reels and Shorts are also in beta development,” and added, “AI is evolving to the point where it can replace the time and intuition of marketers.”
The Path to Dawn: Global Markets and IPOs
Yeomyeonggeori's primary goal is to enter the US market. According to CEO Kim, platforms like Make.com and Buffer, commonly used by overseas marketers, still require complex workflows, posing a high barrier to entry.
"Autoke allows you to create and schedule campaigns with a single click. It allows you to precisely target users who can't overcome the complex barriers to entry of existing platforms."
He stated, “We will verify the AI engine under development through the TIPS project and diversify our revenue by applying the verified technology to various fields such as media, press, and finance,” and set a goal of achieving a corporate value of 50 billion won within 5 years.
"I want to create a structure where AI helps people realize their potential, and people, in turn, develop AI. That's the true 'dawn' of Yeomyeong Street."
