Whistle Signs Strategic Cooperation MOU with Meritz Capital

Monoplatform (CEO Jeong Hae-jun), which operates the integrated mobility app 'Whistle', announced on the 30th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation with Meritz Capital (CEO Kwon Tae-gil) to advance automobile finance services.

The signing ceremony held at the Monoplatform headquarters in Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was attended by key officials from both companies, including Monoplatform CEO Jeong Hae-jun and Meritz Capital Sales Headquarters Director Park Sang-ho.

This collaboration aims to combine Whistle's platform capabilities with Meritz Capital's financial expertise to provide optimized financial products to car owners and prospective buyers, while enhancing the customer experience in the used car financing sector.

Under the agreement, Whistle will provide product-linked services to customers in need of financial services, while Meritz Capital will be responsible for all aspects of the financial sector, including product design, review, and operation. Furthermore, the two companies will offer customized financial products, including installment financing, leases, and loans, to customers purchasing and selling used cars. They will also establish a sustainable cooperative system through joint promotions for members and dealers and the development of new business models.

“Whistle is expanding its platform capabilities to ensure that both car owners and potential buyers can experience fast and transparent financial services,” said Jeong Hae-jun, CEO of Monoplatform. “Through this collaboration, we will increase accessibility to used car financing and create a trust-based mobility finance ecosystem.”

Park Sang-ho, head of sales at Meritz Capital, said, “Through our partnership with Monoplatform, we can now provide our used car financing know-how and customer service,” adding, “We plan to increase our brand awareness in the used car financing market by leveraging the strengths of both companies.”
