StradVision (CEO Kim Jun-hwan), a company specializing in AI-based image recognition software, submitted a preliminary application to the Korea Exchange on October 30th for a KOSDAQ technology special listing. KB Securities is the lead underwriter.
StradVision develops and supplies deep learning-based perception software for autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Recognizing the completeness of its core technology, its level of commercialization, and its market competitiveness, StradVision has received A and BBB ratings from two technology evaluation agencies, respectively.
SVNet, its flagship product, is a deep learning-based recognition software that analyzes vehicle-mounted camera footage in real time to identify various road objects, including pedestrians, vehicles, lanes, and traffic lights. This purely camera-based solution enables high-precision recognition without LiDAR, and its lightweight model structure enables real-time operation even on low-power automotive SoCs.
Since its commercialization in 2019, SVNet has been supplied to 50 vehicle models from 13 global automakers. StradVision is accelerating the mass production development of next-generation ADAS and autonomous driving systems through collaborations with major automakers and Tier-1 suppliers. It is also conducting joint development projects to secure new customers, focusing on Europe and North America.
"The importance of camera-based recognition technology and AI software is growing in the autonomous driving market," said Kim Jun-hwan, CEO of StradVision. "StradVision has proven its technological reliability and commercial competitiveness through diverse mass production experiences and collaborations with global automakers. We will continue to advance the era of safe and intelligent mobility through the development of innovative vision solutions and global collaboration."
