Be My Friends Acquires Dreamus Company

Be My Friends, operator of the global fandom business solution "Bstage," announced that it has signed a stock purchase agreement to acquire Dreamus Company, a subsidiary of SK Square. This acquisition is expected to be a strategic turning point for Be My Friends, expanding its business beyond the fandom platform to encompass music streaming, music distribution, and performance infrastructure.

It is expected that the combination of Dreamus Company's music streaming platform 'FLO' and B-Stage will enable a music platform service that integrates communication between fans and artists, commerce, and performance reservations.

This acquisition was driven by strategic investments from domestic and international investors, including Japan's Mitsubishi BRICS Fund, global venture capital firm Goodwater Capital, and domestic private equity fund Midas Private Equity. These investors highly valued Be My Friends' growth potential and the scalability of its fandom business market.

Through the acquisition, Bimaifreens will complete its fandom business value chain across music and adjacent industries, encompassing music streaming, music distribution, fan platforms, membership/commerce, live communication, and performance infrastructure. Leveraging Dreamus' music distribution, production, and performance infrastructure, the company aims to enhance synergy in expanding its fandom business. Furthermore, Bstage's 1:1 fan-artist communication, community, membership, and merchandise commerce capabilities will be integrated with Flo, creating a one-stop service.

Seo Woo-seok, CEO of Bimae Friends, said, “The acquisition of Dreamus is a strategic decision to expand the global fandom business ecosystem in the music industry,” and added, “The combination of our two companies will revolutionize the relationship between fans and artists and create a new music fandom experience in the global market.”
