Decamp, StartupOI #finance sector closes… 'ReturnZero' selected as Startup of the Year

Decamp (CEO Park Young-hoon), a startup growth support organization, announced on the 31st that Return Zero (CEO Lee Cham-sol) was selected as the 'Startup of the Year' at the 'DeCamp Startup OI #FinancialSector' co-hosted with the Korea Fintech Support Center (Chairman Kim Geon) at Decamp Mapo.

This event was designed to share practical examples of collaboration between the financial sector and startups and foster a sustainable collaborative ecosystem. Approximately 120 people, including financial institution officials, judges, and the general public, attended the event to hear about innovative startups and discuss potential collaborations.

Among the 59 companies that applied through the preliminary public offering, five startups, including Namdo Market, Return Zero, Aims, Big Tech Plus, and Antok, were selected as the final presenters.

Namdo Market is a distribution innovation platform that connects producers and wholesalers. It operates the B2B transaction matching service 'Namdo Market', the wholesale and retail order settlement management tool 'ND Uncle', and the fashion wholesale settlement solution 'Fashion On'.

Return Zero operates 'VITO', an app that converts phone calls into text based on voice recognition AI technology, and 'CALLABO', a corporate meeting recording solution, and provides fast and secure voice data processing in the cloud and on-premise.

Aims is an InsurTech company that supports insurance companies in product launches and insurance claim reviews by utilizing insurance policy analysis and AI review automation technology, while BigTech Plus provides HomeQ, an AI-based platform for real estate asset management and the prevention of jeonse fraud.

Antok is a financial data analysis company that analyzes the financial and non-financial data of domestic companies to diagnose their management stability and technological innovation. It operates an AI-based solution called 'Antok MRI'.

As a result of the evaluation, ReturnZero was selected as "Startup of the Year," Namdo Market was named "Outstanding Startup Spotlighted by Financial Institutions," and BigTech Plus was named "Outstanding Startup Spotlighted by Investment Firms." Aims and Antalk also received high praise.

The winning companies will be awarded a total of 10 million won in prize money, and will be provided with benefits such as ▲ selection review for the D-Camp placement program (up to 1.5 billion won in investment and opportunity to residency for 1.5 years), ▲ priority investment review for the D-Camp investment fund, and ▲ Korea Fintech Support Center PoC support (up to 120 million won per company).

At the event, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea's Lee Jae-jun was selected as the 'Startup-friendly financial institution representative selected directly by entrepreneurs' and received the Financial Services Commission Chairman's Award.
