MarkVision Expands Globally to Address Unauthorized Sales, Maximizing Brand Value Protection Capabilities

Expanding its reach beyond domestic marketplaces to include global top-tier marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.

Expected to provide clients with practical 'brand control' capabilities, such as identifying sales recovery rates and enhancing brand image.

A successful global conference was held in LA last month , with discussions focused on IP protection as a key strategy for business growth.

MarkVision (CEO In-Seop Lee), an AI-based IP integrated service company, announced on the 31st that it has expanded the service scope of its unauthorized sales response solution globally starting in October and has further strengthened its capabilities to help protect brand value, including price control and distribution order management within online marketplaces.

"Unauthorized selling" refers to unauthorized sellers distributing products of dubious authenticity by stealing brand imagery or information. This practice disrupts the brand's pricing structure, causes consumer confusion, and is considered a representative distribution risk, severely damaging the brand's sales and reputation.

With the recent rapid growth of online marketplaces, unauthorized sales have emerged as a widespread problem spreading globally. MarkVision has expanded the service scope of its unauthorized sales response solution, which was previously limited to domestic marketplaces, to major overseas marketplaces.

This expansion marks the first time a one-stop solution for detecting, analyzing, and sanctioning unauthorized sales has been developed, not at the country level, but at the marketplace level where products are actually distributed and sold. In addition to existing domestic marketplaces like Coupang, Naver Smart Store, Auction, Gmarket, 11st, Lotte On, Interpark, and SSG.com, the service has expanded to include leading global marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.

Brands that have adopted MarkVision's unauthorized selling solution can now monitor the activities of both official and unofficial sellers across major marketplaces worldwide at a glance and respond in real time to unauthorized sales practices, such as price manipulation and image damage. This solution can help brands stabilize prices, restore sales, and enhance trust across global markets. Furthermore, by gaining insight into market trends and distribution structures, they can develop more sophisticated distribution strategies and establish a foundation for sustainable growth.

Mark Vision CEO Lee In-seop said, “Brands that have implemented our unauthorized sales response solution for domestic marketplaces have proven its effectiveness by recording an average sales recovery rate of 2.34% over the past three months (July to September).” He added, “We will continue to accelerate the advancement of our solutions and support so that our clients can directly control their brand reputation and sales, and simultaneously secure brand control capabilities and growth potential in the market.”

This service expansion is part of MarkVision's journey to build a sustainable brand control environment for brands worldwide. This progress also coincides with the successful hosting of its first global conference, IPx LA 2025, recently held in Los Angeles, USA.

The two-day conference, held at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles from the 29th of last month, was designed to redefine IP protection as a core strategy for business growth. Representatives from over 60 domestic and international brands, including Disney, Lush, Fossil, and Allbirds, attended, demonstrating keen interest in MarkVision's innovative capabilities and competitiveness. MarkVision unveiled eight advanced features in key areas, including countermeasures against counterfeit goods and unauthorized sales, content protection, and trademark management, garnering a enthusiastic response from attendees.

In a vote held after the event to determine the next host city, Seoul received overwhelming support as the next IPx conference venue, demonstrating Korea's emergence as a new hub for IP protection and brand value innovation.
