Taewoong Logistics Signs MOU to Strengthen Logistics Competitiveness in Central Asia and China

Taewoong Logistics, a comprehensive logistics service provider, announced on the 3rd that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation with global logistics partners in Yanyun Port, Jiangsu Province, China on the 31st of last month.

This agreement involved four companies: Taewoong Logistics, Lianyungang Port Group, Qingdao Ocean & Great Asia Logistics (GACOSCO) of China, and GSR Network of the UAE. The agreement aims to strengthen the logistics competitiveness of global projects in response to the growing logistics demand in Central Asia and the growing importance of intermodal transport along the Trans-China Railway (TCR).

Through this agreement, Taewoong Logistics expects to expand its project logistics and intermodal transport volumes in Central Asia and improve the quality of its logistics services. The division of responsibilities will be as follows: Taewoong Logistics will oversee maritime transport and communications with global EPC companies; Yantai Port Group will provide port and inland transport support; GACOSCO will coordinate rail and road transport within China; and GSR Network will be responsible for inland transport and on-site logistics operations within the CIS region.

In conjunction with the signing of the agreement, Taewoong Logistics participated in a cultural exchange event at the invitation of the Yeonun Port Group. At the event, Taewoong Logistics' in-house choir, "Woongs Choir," performed locally, strengthening the friendly relationship between the two companies.

A Taewoong Logistics representative stated, "Through this collaboration, we plan to strengthen our global logistics network and expand our partnerships." The company plans to continue enhancing its global competitiveness in project logistics in Central Asia and collaborating with key logistics partners.
