Monthly Kitchen, a global restaurant tech company (CEO Hyuk-gyun Kim), has successfully commercialized its self-developed Monkey POS and table ordering integrated system by delivering it to the Golden Pig, a mid-sized restaurant in New York, USA.

This marks the first time that an integrated POS/table ordering system developed using proprietary technology has been fully integrated with major US payment and delivery infrastructure and has been operationally verified in a mid- to large-scale restaurant. This is considered to serve as empirical evidence for establishing a standard operating model for domestic technology in the US restaurant solutions market.

The Golden Pig restaurant boasts monthly sales of approximately $300,000 (approximately 5 billion won annually), a diverse menu, and high table turnover. The restaurant boasts a total of 33 integrated systems, including three Pion POS systems and 30 Orderpay table-top ordering devices. This integrated system seamlessly integrates the entire process, from customer orders to KDS (Kitchen Real-Time Integration), on-site payment, and dashboard sales management. Operational analysis has proven that this system's operational efficiency has increased table turnover, reduced waiting times, and improved order accuracy.

Pion POS integrates with three major US payment gateways (Fiserv, Elavon, and Tsys) and supports standard local terminals. It also integrates with four major delivery platforms—DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub, and Own Delivery—as well as Own Delivery and order synchronization features, covering the core operating environments of the US restaurant market.

This goes beyond simple device delivery, signifying complete technological integration into the local financial and distribution structures. Furthermore, given the limited commercialization of domestic POS solutions in mid- to large-scale stores in overseas markets, the fact that the design, development, and supply were all based on domestic technology is attracting attention.

Monthly Kitchen's Orderpay table ordering system integrates directly with the Pion POS. Its wireless nature allows for immediate use without additional installation. Its 3-5 day battery life enhances operational convenience. Currently, efforts are underway to optimize the AI CRM (return marketing) technology, based on order big data, which has proven effective in Korea, for the US market. Another key differentiating factor for Monthly Kitchen is its evolution from a simple ordering tool to a "sales-contributing platform."

Monthly Kitchen plans to accelerate its expansion into the US restaurant franchise market, leveraging operational data from its Golden Pig stores. The company plans to broaden its market reach by sequentially expanding its supply chain, currently centered around restaurant POS, KDS, and web dashboards, to include mobile POS and online ordering platforms.

CEO Kim Hyuk-gyun said, “The significance of this achievement lies in the fact that it goes beyond simple delivery and completes the verification of local infrastructure integration,” and added, “Based on this verification, we will localize the AI CRM technology, which has proven its effectiveness domestically, and use it as a key driving force for expansion in the U.S. restaurant franchise market.”
