On November 3, 2025, at the '2025 FAST TRACK Agricultural and Food Demo Day' held at Ondream Society in Jung-gu, Seoul, SM HASSUP (CEO Jang Seong-muk), a specialized AX company specializing in food manufacturing, received an Excellence Award.
Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology, and organized by CNT Tech and Chosun Biz, the event featured 14 promising startups selected for this year's Fast Track Incubation Program in the agricultural and food sector, showcasing their technologies and business models. The judging panel included representatives from leading venture capital and corporate venture capital firms, including Icrux Venture Partners, CJ Investment, and Synergy IB Investment.
SM HASS announced the DX·AX platform specialized in food manufacturing, suggesting a plan to simultaneously achieve production efficiency and quality innovation through food industry-specific technologies such as AI quality prediction, SaaS-based smart factory solution, food-specific LLM service, and autonomous manufacturing solution.
In particular, the LLM service includes automatic verification of food labeling laws, OCR-based test reports, and automatic recognition and input of handwritten documents such as health certificates, helping food manufacturing companies automate complex document tasks and prevent potential violations of laws and regulations in advance.
Additionally, the company presented a specific strategy for enhancing its LLM-based SaaS platform, along with examples of AI machine vision and quality prediction applied to actual food manufacturing plants, and received high praise from the judges for its technological prowess and market scalability.
