MakinaRocks Signs Business Agreement with Isaac Engineering

MakinaRocks (CEO Sungho Yoon), an industry-specific artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with smart factory specialist Isaac Engineering to expand vertical AI within the steel and semiconductor industries. This agreement aims to build a field-focused vertical AI ecosystem by combining industry-specific domain data and expertise.

Isaac Engineering has years of experience in large-scale plant industrial automation and control system construction. Through this agreement, the two companies will share Isaac Engineering's manufacturing design and equipment data with MakinaRocks, and based on this data, they will jointly pursue AI advancements in the field of industrial automation.

MakinaRocks plans to develop specialized AI models using industrial data provided by Isaac Engineering and commercialize them in actual manufacturing settings through its AI platform, "MakinaRocks Runway." Through this, MakinaRocks aims to understand the context and control logic of industrial processes and implement vertical AI solutions that can be immediately deployed in the field.

Based on their jointly developed AI solution, the two companies will also explore new business opportunities and pursue technology validation. Specifically, they plan to expand the solution's application to the steel and semiconductor industries, accelerating improvements in manufacturing productivity.
