Moon Academy Secures Investment from Hana Tour

Mooncademy Co., Ltd., operator of the running-based sports travel platform "Cletu," has secured a Series A bridge investment from Hana Tour Co., Ltd. This investment marks Hana Tour's first investment in a travel startup since its founding. Through this strategic partnership, the two companies plan to advance into the KRW 800 trillion global sports tourism market.

"Cletu" is Korea's only experiential sports travel platform. It plans and operates run tours combining domestic and international marathon participation and travel, running events hosted by public institutions and brands, and a B2B travel management system (BTMS) for corporations. Furthermore, it has secured official ITP status for the Sydney Marathon, one of the world's seven major marathons, and holds exclusive domestic distribution rights for the Paris Marathon.

Through this investment, K2T plans to combine Hana Tour's global infrastructure, its own run tour operation know-how, and running community content to plan and sell joint run tour products, expand B2B partnerships, and enhance content and communities.
