S&I Corporation (CEO Seo Hyun, hereinafter referred to as S&I), a comprehensive real estate management service company based on proptech, announced on the 6th that it won the grand prize in the ‘Smart Office’ category at the 26th Korea FM Awards hosted by the Korea Facility Management Association (Korea FM Association, Chairman Lee Myeong-sik) for its Magok headquarters, which it relocated to earlier this year.

With this award, SNI has been recognized for its outstanding performance in all sectors, including management, FM, smart work, and work environment, and has proven its competitiveness in building the industry's best smart office.

To transform its Magok headquarters into a smart office, SNI established a seating and conference room reservation system centered around its office life care app, "SANDI App." This system enabled the company to operate a 365-day, flexible seating system, fostering a flexible work environment and strengthening its smart work competitiveness.

Furthermore, proptech technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensor-based real-time data analysis, have been integrated into facility operations to maximize energy savings and management efficiency. Specifically, workspaces have been organized into Basic, Active, Reading, Café, and Agile categories based on job characteristics and objectives, enhancing employee engagement and flexibility.

In addition, S&I is implementing innovative work systems, such as flexible work hours and centralized office operations, to enhance synergy with its smart office environment. Through these initiatives, S&I plans to create and strengthen a work environment where employees can fully demonstrate their capabilities, furthering its growth as a comprehensive real estate management company built on proptech competitiveness.

The Korea FM Awards, which S&I won, are hosted and organized by the Korea FM Society. This prestigious event annually recognizes and recognizes outstanding business performance achieved through the application of facility management (FM) techniques. Founded in 1995, the Korea FM Society is a non-profit academic organization recognized for its credibility and expertise in the domestic facility management (FM) field.

Seo Hyun, CEO of S&I, said, “This award is an official recognition of S&I’s accumulated smart office construction know-how and proptech-based operational innovation capabilities,” and added, “We will continue to lead the industry by expanding the next-generation work environment model based on smart work operation data and FM expertise.”

Meanwhile, S&I is a PropTech-based comprehensive real estate management company with experience managing over 500 buildings, including major buildings of LG Group affiliates, over 21,000 stores, and large-scale performance halls and broadcasting facilities. It has spearheaded the industry's digital transformation (DX) by introducing various space management solutions centered on space-related platforms, including a 24-hour Integrated Operation Center (IOC), a standardized Asset Management System (atG), an Office Life Care App (Sandy App) that maximizes building usability, and an asset management platform (Sandy Property). S&I is actively pursuing a comprehensive real estate management business model that encompasses the entire commercial real estate value chain, including facilities management (FM), real estate asset management (PM), and lease management (LM) services including purchases and sales.
