
The Chungnam Content Agency (President Kim Gok-mi) participated in the "BIBAN 2025" exhibition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nmohub, a leading Saudi startup incubator. This agreement is expected to accelerate the expansion of Chungnam startups into the Middle East and their global network.
Nemuhub, an organization under the Saudi Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Monsha'at), is a key organization responsible for fostering the Middle East's startup ecosystem, attracting investment, and providing startup education. Through its agreement with Nemuhub, the Promotion Agency has established a multifaceted cooperative framework, including: ▲supporting startups' global market entry and market development; ▲establishing overseas investment and investor relations networks; and ▲promoting joint programs.
This agreement notably features the participation of SERA Inc., a company located in the Cheonan Startup Park in South Chungcheong Province. SERA, a company specializing in eco-friendly composite materials and AI modular technologies, signed a strategic MOU with Sultan Al Qahtani, Chairman of Nemuhub, and the Saudi Industrial Basic Material Company. Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate on building an eco-friendly composite material production line and developing an AI-based modular data center infrastructure.
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is emerging as a key industry in global markets, including Saudi Arabia, and according to market research firm IDC, AI-related investments are growing at an average annual rate of more than 25%.
President Kim Gok-mi stated, "This agreement will serve as a practical catalyst for South Chungcheong startups to expand into the Middle East. We will establish a foundation for sustained global growth by expanding our network, centered around Saudi Arabia." During the event, President Kim also promoted the "Visit South Chungcheong Year 2025-2026" initiative, highlighting South Chungcheong's industrial and content capabilities.
