
Smart device specialist brand Garmin announced that it has won the 'CES Innovation Awards' in a total of five categories ahead of the 'CES 2026' home appliance and IT exhibition to be held in Las Vegas, USA in January next year.
The fēnix 8 Pro MicroLED, winner of the Fashion Tech Innovation Award, is a GPS multisport smartwatch featuring a MicroLED display. Featuring inReach satellite and cellular connectivity and LTE capabilities, it provides stable connectivity even during outdoor activities.
The winner in the Digital Health category, the Venu 4, comprehensively analyzes users' health data and lifestyle to provide personalized wellness solutions, including customized exercise, sleep rhythms, and stress management. In the Sports and Fitness category, the Forerunner 970, a premium GPS running watch, was selected. Equipped with an AMOLED display, a built-in LED flash, enhanced navigation, and recovery and training management features, this product supports the performance of runners and triathletes.
Garmin also made a name for itself in underwater technology. The Descent S1 Diver Communication Buoy, designed to enable divers to share location information and send messages underwater, won an Innovation Award in the Sports and Fitness category for its groundbreaking advancements in maritime safety.
Also selected in the pet tech category was the Blaze Equine Wellness System. This wearable sensor attaches to a horse's tail and monitors vital data, including heart rate, in real time.
