Vueron Technology (CEO Jae-kwang Kim), an AI-based cognitive solution specialist, announced on the 7th that it won the CES 2026 'Innovation Awards' for its integrated LiDAR AI development platform 'VueX'. This award was given in the 'Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility' category, and VueX was evaluated as an integrated LiDAR AI platform capable of analyzing complex 3D data in real time.
Last year, Viewrun Technology won a CES 2025 Innovation Award in the Smart City category for its lidar-based "Smart Crowd Analytics (SCA)" solution. This SCA solution is currently being used in local governments, including Jongno-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Gangdong-gu in Seoul, to detect crowd density in real time and prevent safety accidents.
Additionally, VueX will receive Amazon Web Services (AWS) "Software Path" certification in June 2024 and be officially listed on the AWS Marketplace, solidifying its credibility as a global cloud-based AI platform. This will allow users around the world to immediately subscribe to and utilize VueX in the AWS environment without a separate installation process.
CEO Kim Jae-kwang stated, "VueX is a platform that opens an era where anyone can easily develop and utilize LiDAR AI. Through the CES Innovation Award and AWS certification, VueX's technological competitiveness has been recognized in the global market." He added, "We will set a new standard across industries that require 3D perception technology, such as autonomous driving, robotics, and smart cities."
