VIRNECT (CEO Taejin Ha), a specialized company in industrial AI/DX convergence solutions, unveiled its next-generation AI smart goggles, "VisionX," at the "Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo (BIXPO) 2025." This product is VIRNECT's strategic new product aimed at digital transformation and safety innovation in industrial sites, and its real-time functions were demonstrated through a live demo at the exhibition site.
Hosted by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), BIXPO is an energy industry exhibition celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju from November 5th to 7th under the theme "Connect Everything with Energy," the event attracted a large number of domestic and international energy and advanced technology companies.
Burnect's VisionX is an AI-powered smart goggle worn by industrial workers. It displays facility inspection procedures and data in real-time in the field of view and can be controlled via voice. This allows workers to work hands-free, and remote experts can share the wearer's field of view for immediate collaboration and support. The demonstration showcased AI procedure guidance, remote collaboration, and robot integration.
Burnect plans to expand its business into a "smart safety platform" that connects various wearable devices, including hard hats, workwear, and gloves, centered around VisionX. This strategy aims to strengthen its competitiveness in the smart factory ecosystem, which combines AI and digital transformation (DX), and simultaneously enhance safety and efficiency in industrial settings.
CEO Ha Tae-jin said, “Vernect’s goal is not to create a workplace where people disappear, but rather a workplace where people become stronger,” and added, “Through AI technology, we will create a fast and safe industrial workplace even in the age of automation.”
