Webaresoft, a company specializing in API management platforms, announced that it has signed an official memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Singaporean AI document automation company Staple and will actively pursue global API integration cooperation.
This agreement builds on the successful results of a joint Proof of Concept (PoC) project conducted by both companies last October. The core of the collaboration is to integrate and operate Staple's open API as a SaaS (Software as a Service) through Webearsoft's API management platform, OSORI APIM.
Staple is a growing company built on AI technology that automatically extracts unstructured document data. Focusing on the Asia Pacific region, it is implementing document automation across various industries, including accounting, finance, and supply chain. Furthermore, it is accelerating its global market entry by strengthening its API-based technology expansion strategy.
“I was impressed by the platform’s ability to automatically generate API documentation and even support API call testing,” said Josh Kettlewell, co-founder and CTO of Staples. “OSORI APIM is an excellent tool with a developer-friendly environment.”
Webearsoft is currently improving the existing on-premise OSORI APIM into a modular and SaaS format, and through this agreement, will provide an environment where global partners can easily register and test APIs.
A Webearsoft representative stated, “This collaboration goes beyond simple technology integration and is the starting point of a strategic partnership to expand the global SaaS API ecosystem,” adding, “We will strengthen the global competitiveness of OSORI APIM by collaborating with technology companies from various countries in the future.”
