Pasto and Tomorrow Robotics Sign Agreement to Jointly Commercialize AI Humanoid Robots

FASSTO, a robotics-based smart fulfillment company, is partnering with Tomorrow Robotics, a robotics AI company, to introduce vertical AI humanoid robots for logistics. FASSTO announced on the 10th that the two companies signed a business partnership agreement to jointly commercialize vertical AI-based humanoid robots for logistics.

This agreement is part of Pasto's core strategy to transform into an AI- and robotics-based logistics company. Pasto has already achieved innovations in logistics productivity through the commercialization of large-scale autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and plans to commercialize humanoid robots, a next-generation technology, by applying them to actual logistics sites.

The two companies will jointly launch a proof-of-concept (PoC) project involving approximately 10 humanoid robots at the new Pasto logistics center in 2026. This demonstration aims to integrate robot control, AI, and logistics automation technologies to create a commercial model for Korea's most advanced AI humanoid robots.

Pasto has developed its own orchestration software that integrates and operates various logistics robots, including AMRs, AGVs, and humanoids, on a single platform. Its full integration with WMS and WES provides a total solution for optimal AI-based operation of the entire logistics center. Through this collaboration, Tomorrow Robotics' humanoid robots will be integrated with the Pasto platform, becoming a key element of the next-generation logistics automation ecosystem.

Pasto will provide logistics center infrastructure, operational expertise accumulated over seven years, and an integrated control system. Tomorrow Robotics will provide humanoid robot hardware and AI technology, supporting system integration. With its multi-robot integrated control system scheduled to launch in the first half of next year, Pasto plans to unveil a next-generation logistics operation system that will control all automated equipment in real time from a single platform.

Through this collaboration, Pasto plans to establish a next-generation logistics operation model where people and robots collaborate. This will maximize logistics efficiency, not only through automation of simple, repetitive tasks, but also through AI-based precision picking, packing, and movement. Furthermore, the company plans to apply this flexible robot-based operation system to future logistics center expansions and new locations, establishing a sustainable logistics infrastructure.

A Pasto official emphasized, “This agreement is an important milestone that demonstrates that Pasto is a leading company in efficiently applying AI robot technology to logistics sites,” and “We will create an innovative logistics automation model by combining Tomorrow Robotics’ humanoid robot technology with Pasto’s AI system and logistics operation know-how.”
