Thermo Fisher Scientific Korea (CEO Seok Su-jin) announced on the 12th that it was selected as the winner in the Talent Development category at the 'ASOCIO Awards 2025' hosted by the Asia-Oceanian Information Industries Organization (ASOCIO).

The ASOCIO Awards are an international award presented by ICT associations from 24 countries in Asia and Oceania. Each year, they recognize companies and organizations that have contributed to digital innovation and development. The Human Resources Development category recognizes companies that have contributed to the advancement of the digital ecosystem through human resource development activities such as education, talent development, and internal capacity building.

For the past three years, Thermo Fisher has systematically strengthened its employees' digital capabilities through its company-wide digital culture program, "WINDI (Winning with Digital). This program fosters a digital culture centered on self-directed learning and action through participatory programs such as operating an AI community where employees can experiment with and share AI-based ideas, developing in-house RPA (Robotics Process Automation) to automate repetitive tasks, and serving as a cybersecurity ambassador.

Key achievements of this award include the annual Windy program with over 90% employee participation, a collaborative automation project that will increase productivity by approximately 63,500 hours in 2024 (nearly a threefold increase compared to 2022), and achieving an over 80% reporting rate in an in-house phishing email mock drill.

CEO Seok Su-jin said, “It is meaningful that Korea’s local digital innovation efforts have been recognized on the international stage. With this award as an opportunity, we will apply our accumulated digital capabilities to future growth core fields such as AI, bio, and automation, and lead the digital transformation by building a digital-based, next-generation research environment together with our customers.”
