Lighton Technology Builds Smart Hospital Solution for Masan National Hospital

Implementation of advanced hospital information system integration to enhance patient-centered data sharing and safety.

Lighton Technology (CEO Song Moon) announced that it has successfully installed the smart hospital solution 'FineNurse' and the medication infusion monitoring device 'FineDrop' at Masan National Hospital.

The newly established smart hospital solution 'FineNurse' by Lighton Technology collects and analyzes key data of hospitalized patients in real time and provides this to nursing staff through various interfaces such as large monitors, PCs, and mobile devices, thereby significantly improving the work efficiency of medical staff and patient safety.

"FineNurse" has already been implemented at major university hospitals in Korea, including three hospitals affiliated with Korea University Medical Center and Yonsei University Severance Cancer Hospital. It has been validated in clinical settings, receiving positive reviews for its ability to substantially reduce the workload of nursing staff. In particular, the solution has been recognized for its contribution to improving patient response speed and enhancing the level of stable patient care.

The newly introduced "FineDrop" is a product developed using Lyton Technology's proprietary technology. Approved as a Class 2 medical device by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), it is a medication infusion monitor that monitors the amount of fluid administered and the status of the infusion in real time. It immediately detects and notifies of abnormalities, such as full drops, line blockages, and expected end times, enabling medical staff to manage patients more safely and quickly.

CEO Song Moon stated, “This implementation is the result of actively reflecting the opinions of actual nurses, enhancing patient safety features and enhancing the user experience,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to develop innovative smart hospital solutions that will benefit both medical staff and patients.”
