Coversummon partners with KP Global to enter the Chinese sportswear market.

Case Swiss's "K.UBE" line incorporates AirTech materials, targeting the high-performance sportswear market.

Strengthening IP protection through Chinese patent registration and future expansion of local production and distribution networks.

Lifestyle tech company Coversummon Co., Ltd. (CVSM, CEO Jaeho Lee) announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with KP Global Investment (hereinafter referred to as KP Global), a subsidiary of China's Extap International Holdings, to supply the 'Air Pillow Kit'.

The Air Pillow Kit is a functional material featuring Coverthermon's proprietary "Air Tech" technology, which injects air into the garment to act as a filling material. Despite its lightweight design, it boasts excellent thermal insulation and resilience, and its air-filled neck support structure provides a comfortable and stable fit.

This agreement, leveraging CoverSurman's AirTech technology, aims to strengthen both companies' competitiveness in the high-performance sportswear market. KP Global plans to apply the Air Pillow Kit to Case Swiss's "K.UBE" line, further differentiating its products and expanding its premium line.

With this agreement, Coversummon has secured a Chinese patent for its air pillow kit, strengthening its local intellectual property (IP) protection system. Going forward, Coversummon plans to collaborate with KP Global to gradually expand its production and distribution network in China and aggressively target the local market.

KP Global owns the IP for global sports brands such as K-Swiss and Palladium and is actively expanding its business in the Chinese market. Xstep International Holdings operates Xstep, a leading Chinese sportswear brand, and currently sells sports and lifestyle products, including sneakers and apparel, through approximately 6,300 stores worldwide.

Coversummon is a lifestyle tech company developing sustainable fiber material technology utilizing natural elements like air, heat, and UV rays. The company has been recognized for its eco-friendly technology, supplying materials to companies like Descente, K2, NEPA, and ANA in the Asian market, as well as to European luxury brand B and American SPA brand GAP.

CoverSurman CEO Lee Jae-ho said, “This agreement with a local Chinese company is significant in that it recognizes CoverSurman’s technological prowess and competitiveness,” adding, “Through our collaboration with KP Global, we will present a product lineup optimized for the Chinese market and strengthen our global supply chain.”
