Kindorf secures 2.6 billion won in seed funding.

K-pop-based fashion brand house startup Kindop announced on the 17th that it has secured 2.6 billion won in seed funding. This round was led by Bluepoint Partners, with participation from Murex Partners, Base Ventures, and the Incheon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation-The Invention Lab.

Kindorf operates "2000 Atelier," which creates stage costumes for K-pop artists, and "2000 Archives," a fashion brand that sells these costumes through B2C channels. The company has produced stage costumes for top Korean and international artists, including Blackpink, aespa, Le Seraphim, and Ive.

Kindorf is building a scalable model by applying data analytics, operational optimization, and AI-based design automation technologies to the fashion industry. CEO Kim Seon-bin leverages his experience in finance to establish a data-driven operational system, while Creative Director Hong Da-eun, a graduate of Central Saint Martins in the UK, possesses global fashion expertise.

Ryu Go-eun, a senior analyst at Bluepoint who led this investment, commented, “Kindope is building a unique model that converts the global cultural asset called K-POP into profit, and will bring structural innovation to the fashion industry through a data-driven operating system and AI technology.”

CEO Kim Seon-bin said, “It is time for Korea to expand its global competitiveness in the content industry into a brand,” and added, “We will complete a brand house model that supports K-lifestyle brands with a vertically integrated infrastructure.”
